About
I’m Bing. Not the search engine. Bing Chou, the guy with a passion for entrepreneurship, food, and technology, and I’ve got something cookin’.
I’m a transplanted New Englander from the Boston area who landed here in 2001 and made Colorado his home. With that said, let’s get two things out of the way: yes, I am a Red Sox fan, and no, I do not have a Boston accent.
I failed at a being a business owner. I opened an automotive detailing, window tint, and clearbra business in Boulder, grew it to a total staff of 7, and shut it down two years later. Let’s just say that they don’t teach you everything you need to know about launching a business when you get your MBA (Babson: I still love you, I learned a ton, and I wouldn’t have changed a thing).
In my free time, I consume as much content about entrepreneurship, food, and technology as I can handle. In an effort to create some content of my own, I blog here occasionally. I also do some cooking. And a lot of eating. Seriously – I love food. Love it.
To my long lost thru-hiker friends: I’m King Cheese (GA->ME ’98, GA->VA ’05). I’ve started posting my journal entries from ’98 along with a few photos if you’d like to reminisce.
These days I work for Quick Left, a kick-ass web engineering and consulting firm in downtown Boulder.
I also make time as the Boulder Organizer for House of Genius.
I share my life with my wife, the most supportive partner I could ever ask for, my daughter, the cutest little girl on Planet Earth, and our dog, the lovable nutcase.
Enough about me.
